Posting Inaccurate Information, PLEASE TAKE NOTE Options

The moderators have recently been contacted by a number of organizations regarding false content on the board. While we always take complaints and reported posts seriously, please take note of the following, which is from the Registration Agreement that pertains to anyone who posts on SynchroBoards:

"Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this BB....You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate..."

We make the greatest effort to remove posts that are in direct violation of our Board Rules, including posts that are defamatory, insulting, and slanderous, and/or violate members or non-members' privacy by revealing personal information about them.

We are not obligated to remove posts that are not of this nature, unless we deem it necessary, or unless posts violate another board rule.

With that said, please bear in mind that certain types of information about teams and coaches are in the PUBLIC realm and are therefore not automatically subject to removal. We will not remove posts simply by request, or just because they contain the name of a team or coach, unless the posts violate board rules.
