READ BEFORE POSTING IN COMPETITION THREADS Options

To users of the US Forum,

When posting in a competition thread, refrain from posts such as, "Does anyone know results of [event]? It should be over by now" and/or "Does anyone have the rest of the placements?" and/or similar requests. In the information age, we are fortunate to be able to receive results from these competitions faster than ever before. However, these types of posts are pointless because results will be posted as soon as someone is able to post them. Continuous requests for results that are not yet available take up valuable board bandwidth and space in these threads. In addition, continuous page "refresh" commands from various users in the threads can also slow the board down considerably.
