I'm curious--what team(s) skates out of West Virginia? I didn't even know they had a rink in the state. Is it new or has it been there for a long time?
The interstate that goes through Charleston, W Virginia is one of the most beautiful drives in the U.S.. We used to drive it every summer coming from North Carolina up to Illinois. The people of the state are friendly, too. Once I had to drive it without my husband (I had my daughter, who was 18 months old, with me), and I had some problems with the car. I pulled into one of the small towns, and the people were incredibly helpful. I can understand why John Denver listed the state of West Virginia by name in his classic ballad, "Country Roads." -------------------- You aren't finished when you lose. IL may host a synchronized skating competition this year! It would be in December, likely the week after Porter. Nothing has been finalized yet, but it is a work in progress!

Just a note to LOCs. Please have someone check your voicemail and emails daily. Even if just to acknowledge the contact and especially if you will have limits or changes. We should not hear from a vendor of a big change! It has been very frustrating to not get a response for days from a previously very prompt comp. It would help calm coaches and parents who are all over the manager for info.
